These example programmes show the situations I'm typically brought into: replatforming, programme rescue, international expansion, and operations at scale.

Salesforce Commerce Cloud rollout that had failed twice before
Replatforming · Interim programme leadership
Two workstreams inside Puma's digital transformation had stalled on two previous attempts: rolling out Salesforce Commerce Cloud across European markets, and integrating Crownpeak search and merchandising globally across both the new environment and existing SFRA sites. I led both concurrently, bridging Puma's requirements with development teams across the consultancy and a third-party delivery partner, and untangling the dependencies that had sunk earlier attempts. Engaged through VML to lead delivery across their client and third-party partner teams.
Result: both workstreams delivered to tight deadlines, ready for peak.

Building the operation that took 12,000 sellers international in year one
International growth · Operations at scale
eBay EU leadership wanted their top 40,000 UK and German business sellers performing better internationally. I identified what the successful cross-border sellers did differently, built a replicable model, then set up the programme from scratch, aligning multiple internal teams and eight technology partners. I stayed on to run the operation: two 20-agent call centres in the UK and Germany, sales metrics, call handling, and continuous evolution of the seller proposition, with an annual programme budget of ~$8M.
Result: 12,000+ sellers onboarded in year one; the programme has since served over 70,000 sellers worldwide.

Rolling out the latest Clubcard software to major retailers
Enterprise delivery
dunnhumby built the platform behind Tesco's Clubcard. I project-managed the next major version, coordinating development, test and release teams across the US, UK and India, then worked directly with clients including Tesco, Co-op Norway and Macy's to customise and accept it. A failed rollout meant serious operational disruption for some of the world's largest retailers, and several were hesitant.
Result: every client accepted and received the upgrade without a single rollout issue.

A partner programme built from a cold opportunity
Partnership & proposition development
Off the back of the eBay programme, I identified that PayPal's retail customer base could grow internationally on the same model. I developed the proposition, took it to PayPal leadership, and co-launched the PayPal Global Sellers Programme.
Result: 2,000+ US and Chinese retailers onboarded in the first year of a programme that didn't exist twelve months earlier.
Five brands into Europe and the US, simultaneously
International expansion
At the height of Arcadia's business, I led the international expansion of Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge, Burton and Wallis into Europe and the United States, platform development with the in-house team, translation agency selection and management, programme budget, and launch readiness across five distinct brand teams on compressed timelines.
Result: all five brands launched on time and within budget.

From near-collapse to live for peak trading
Programme rescue
I was brought in to manage a breakdown between Molton Brown and the agency building their first ecommerce platform. By September it was clear the platform would not be ready for Christmas, the critical trading window for a premium cosmetics brand. Rather than force a broken plan, I engaged trusted specialists from my network to build a temporary platform that kept Molton Brown trading through peak, then mediated a workable path forward between both parties. I stayed on to deliver the full platform, warehouse integration and team training.
Result: peak season saved, and the permanent platform delivered from near-collapse to launch.
